Let go of all the guilt, it’s a new day. Look forward, not back. What’s done is done and you can’t go back to try to fix it all. And even if you did try to go back, you’ll probably end up making more drama. Stay here. Get yourself together and stop feeling guilty. You have a responsibility to yourself here, to get through school and to get good grades. Use that as an example for them that no matter how bad things get, you won’t be phased by the burden. Things happen. Life happens. You were and are meant to be where you are at this very moment. And don’t worry, you’ll be back home soon. And you have an amazing family here to pray for you and to support you.
Even if you think you are not strong, you are. Even if you don’t think you can pull through, you can. Even if you don’t think you’re worthy, you are. Stop putting yourself down all the time and just go. Push. Overcome these obstacles. Crush them. Because all these negative burdens that pull you down are nothing. You are strong. You are brave. You can do this. You are here. You are living to be the best person you can possibly be.
Just some thoughts before I head out.
